Journal of Health Systems and Policies (JHESP) is an international scientific journal that aims to publish high-quality research in the fields of health services, medical sciences, health sciences, health informatics, health care management, and public health, with a particular focus on health systems and policies.
The journal is published twice a year, in June and December. Manuscript submissions are accepted throughout the year. The peer-review process is generally completed within approximately 45 days, after which accepted articles are published online and in regular issues. In accordance with the editorial policy, no fees are charged for the publication procedures of articles in the journal. Original research findings, applications, scientific reviews, viewpoints, and short communication notes related to health services, medical sciences, health sciences, health informatics, health care management, and public health, with a particular focus on health systems and policies, are accepted for publication. Manuscripts that strike an appropriate balance between practice and theory, as well as those that are purely theoretical or applied in nature, are welcome. Review articles are expected to provide in-depth information and a thorough assessment of the topic, supported by a comprehensive list of references. Manuscripts previously published in another medium or journal are not accepted.
JHESP accepts submissions only in English. Authors are responsible for all statements made in manuscripts submitted to the Journal for publication. You may use the Microsoft Word template to prepare your manuscript.
